We are a multicultural household (at present Iraqi, South African, Eritrean, Dutch) of men and women ranging in age between 19 and 52 years, who speak English, Arabic, Dutch, Tigre, Tigrinya and very bad French. Some of us are Muslim, others Christian and others agnostic or atheist. Our aim is to create a space in Brussels where everyone is equal, respected and can feel at home, regardless of race, nationality, religion, migration status, documentation or any other criteria. Children are welcome too!
We live in a very large house on 4 floors with a huge kitchen, living room, 3 toilets, 1 bathroom, 6 bedrooms and a garden. Each of us has our own room and we all share the other spaces in the house. We are just 25 minutes from the centre of Brussels by public transport and 3 minutes’ walk from the nearest bus stop.
The room is very spacious and has a large cupboard for clothing, a double bed and lots of storage space. The house itself is fully furnished, including furniture and kitchen equipment.
If you are looking for a new home in Brussels, we would love to meet you!
